Project Overview
Harlands Builders was appointed by S&A Fabrications Ltd to deliver all concrete works associated with the construction of three new hangars at Teesside Airport, including the airport apron. Working in a live airport environment required strict adherence to site safety protocols and careful coordination with the wider construction programme. The quality of our concrete work on the initial three hangars led directly to our appointment on the fourth hangar, which is currently underway.
The Brief
To deliver high-specification concrete floors and apron works to new aircraft hangars at Teesside Airport, to the tolerances required for an aviation facility, within the constraints of a live airport environment.

Outcome
All three hangars delivered to specification and on programme. Our appointment to the fourth hangar is a direct result of the quality delivered on the first three.
Project Details
The concrete works at Teesside Airport required accuracy, coordination and a contractor who could work to a high standard within a live site environment. Harlands delivered exactly what was needed. Their work was completed on programme and to specification, and the quality of the finish gave us confidence to continue working with them on further phases.
